Indiana Repossession Laws

We have put together a resource guide about repos in the state of Indiana. This guide is for state residents and includes all of the relevant laws and regulations relating to the state’s property recovery system.

Most notably, for a repossession to happen in Indiana, the security interests must be shown on the title that belongs to the lien-holder. Not to forget, the license plates will need to remain with the borrower. And, repossession recovery can only happen so long as there is not a disturbance in peace. For other registration details, you should contact the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles at (317) 233-6000. You will need a certified copy of the contract for liquidation as well.

At our repo company, our staff has a lot of pride while providing the state of Indiana with property recovery services on most everything from simple equipment to more expensive large items. Furthermore, we will be sure to take care of the storage, property inspection and appraisal price for your recovered item.
